Abstract: The event-triggered consensus problem for singular multi-agent systems with Lipschitz nonlinearity under directed topology is investigated in this paper. A sampled-data-based event-triggered mechanism is constructed to decide when the current data-packet should be broadcast. The objective is to design an event-triggered protocol such that the considered multi-agent system can achieve admissible consensus. Based on graph theory and singular system theory, sufficient conditions of consensus of nonlinear singular multi-agent systems are derived. Finally, a numerical example shows the effectiveness of our proposed approach.
