Abstract: This paper deals with the consensus problem for multi-agent systems with fixed topologies. The agents are described by Lipschitz nonlinear systems. Only output information of each agent can be obtained from its neighbor agents. A distributed adaptive consensus algorithm via dynamic output feedback is proposed, in which the coupling weights between adjacent agents are time-varying and satisfy some designed adaptive laws. Provided examples are included to demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed consensus algorithm.
