| Abstract: | Precise control of DC motors is vital for robotics, industrial automation, and mechatronics. Traditional PID (Proportional-Integral-Derivative) control methods, while widely used, often require offline parameter tuning, which can be time-consuming and suboptimal for real-time applications. This paper proposes a GUI (Graphical User Interface) based approach for PID tuning of a DC motor model. The proposed method utilizes a MATLAB-based parameter estimation model with GUI to continuously monitor and update PID controller parameters based on realtime data from the Arduino-controlled DC motor setup. |
