| Abstract: | This paper presents a development of a Multi-Sensory Smart Objects Tracking Module (MSSOTM) using a MEMSbased IR thermal array sensor combined with ultrasonic and laser-based distance measuring system. The system consists of two-axis motorized rotatable sensor platform and controlled by a DSP based centralized controller. Further, MSSOTM is capable of identifying, localizing and sorting of stationary and moving objects as well. The implemented system was tested and validated using Robotino® mobile robot platform. |
