Abstract: UAVs have become popular in the recent years. Quadrotors, the four wing UAV has drawn prominent attention amongst the researchers. The simple nonlinear structure design requires a robust control to ensure the stability during the flight. The noisy and environment with unexpected disturbances may cause issues such as drift in position. In order to tackle the severe conditions a robust control is required. This paper provides an overview of the available quadrotor models and the control techniques with their application in quadrotor control issues.
